Did you grow up with social and cultural pressures that conditioned you to act, live, or work a certain way? Have you been afraid of criticism and rejection? Felt like taking a risk to do what you’ve always dreamed of?

You wonder if you’re meant for “success” and the negative self-talk holds you back. You give up your free will, worrying about what others will think of you, allowing them to determine your future, instead of going for it.

If you’ve faced these moments — in your job, business, or life — I want to help. Why? Because I’ve set out to learn and share how others have embraced those fears.

Check out my podcast, Fear is a Liar, where a diverse range of entrepreneurs share how they embraced fear to get where they are today. Their stories will help you challenge your own fears, fuel your success, and inspire you to go for what you want.

As an avid fan of How I Built This with Guy Raz — I was inspired to produce a very similar narrative format for my show. I had no experience, contacts, or any idea how to start — but my vision of the podcast I wanted to create was clear — and I stuck to it.

I hope you enjoy the first two episodes that are now live on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, and many other podcast networks. If the show provided some positive takeaways, please subscribe and share with others in your network.

Shout-outs

A quick shout out to my first few guests, family, and my dear friend Daniel De Blois for pushing me to finally release the podcast (I was so anxious and fearful!). Thank you. To my daughter Savreen and our future Gyani’s, I hope you hear or read about this episode one day, and it provides some value on your journey.
